The Genealogical Society of Central Missouri

The GSCM Reporter (ISSN 1091-448X):

The GSCM Reporter is published six times per year by the Genealogical Society of Central Missouri. The Reporter provides useful local genealogical research data, information on the current GSCM projects, and articles or reprints of articles about period life in central Missouri over the past 180 years and more.

Unless otherwise noted, it is not copyrighted, but we request that appropriate credit be given if material is reprinted. Third class postage paid at Columbia, MO. Price per copy is $2.50 plus $1.50 postage and handling ($4.00 total per issue). Undelivered copies will be replaced if the President is notified within three months.

In the early year of publication, the GSCM Reporter did not have a consistent number of issues per volume. In fact, in 1988 there were no issues published at all. In 1990, the GSCM Reporter was being published 4 times a year (4 issues per volume). In 1996, the decision was made to publish the GSCM Reporter 6 times a year. It remains a 6 issue per year publication to this day.

Below you can find lists of the Article Titles in each issue as well as an all surname index for many of the years. Because the surname index files are in pdf format, they are not searchable by the search engine on the home page of our website. Therefore, a negative result from that search does not mean you won't find your surname in a Reporter.
