January 2008: We will gather around for a fun discussion of our favorite discoveries of the past year, resolutions for the new year or anything you want to share.
Febrary 2008: "How I Got Here" Members of GSCM will share their genealogies, explaining how they eventually arrived in Boone County.
March 2008: Rob Taylor (GSCM member and Reporter Editor) will discuss how to gather family information and publish it into a book.
April 2008: James Smith (GSCM member) will talk about the Missouri Volunteers who fought in the Second Seminole War at the Battle of Lake Okeechobee in Florida on Christmas Day in 1837.
May 2008: We will hold our meeting at the State Historical Society library located in Ellis library on the campus of the University of Missouri. More information to come.
June 2008: Picnic on the Veranda. Bring a side dish and place settings and come out and enjoy yourself as we get together for an evening of fun and food. Note: This meeting starts at 6:30.
July 2008: TBA
August 2007: There is NO meeting in August. Instead, get your genealogy fix at the Missouri State Genealogical Association's Annual Conference (more info here)

October 2008: Belinda Luke (GSCM member) will give a presentation on her trip to Jamestown, VA.
