Volunteers are needed and encouraged to help staff the library -- come and do some of your research and help out!
Holiday Closings
Please note the Historical society and the library are closed on the following holidays: Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years and for all holidays on Mondays. In addition the library will be closed for an extended Christmas break. Please call ahead (573-443-8936) to check the exact dates.

Research Requests
Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill research requests at the present time. However, you are welcome to submit a Query for publication in the GSCM Reporter. There is no cost for this service and is available to both GSCM members as well as non-members. A copy of your query will also be filed in the family files at the library. The family files are accessible to all patrons of the library and may result in a connection.
